About

Danielle began working in the field of software design and development. She enjoyed the challenges of a professional career as an IT specialist. However, it was after children came along that she really found a spring in her step. She threw herself into all things children, running playgroups and music groups. It was thanks to her love of this world that her work as an author began to emerge. She began to write and found a new outlet for her creative passions.

Danielle hopes to inspire children with joy and to help them discover the beauty in the world around them with her words. She is passionate about children’s literature and can often be spotted at her local library browsing the shelves or buried in a book.

Today, Danielle teaches eager learners in the daylight hours and writes into the night. She is a member of SCBWI, 12×12 picture book challenge, Book Links (Qld) and Write Links. She is the Vice President of Book Links. She has volunteered at SAFI (Story Arts Festival Ipswich), BSAB (Book Links Story Arts Festival Brisbane), and CYA (Children’s and Young Adult Literature Conference). Danielle works on the committee for the running of BSAB as part of her duties for Book Links (Qld).
